"COR" is derived from the Latin phrase "cor unum," which means "one heart". This "one heart" is a heart that is united with the heart of Christ. The mission of COR Youth Ministry is to bring the youth of the Church of St. Mary into a deeper love with Christ, so that they may embrace His call upon their lives, and do His work within the world.

"Cor unum" expresses the care of the Catholic Church for all those who hunger both spiritually and materially. It is the vision of the Church of St. Mary to serve the youth of this parish by both uniting  them to the Heart of Christ and giving them the opportunity to share that Heart with the world. If this is done successfully, COR will gather in faith, in fellowship, in unity, and in action so that our hearts will beat rhythmically with the Lord’s in all we do.
